Amp Onsite's web portal is separated into 3 interfaces:


Admin - A panel accessible by admins and sales admins that allows them to configure the site, create custom forms and reports, and view user activity.

User - The basic user of the web portal. Hosts all other tools and is intended for use by office staff.

Customer - The customer's view of their own customer records. This is a view that is displayed when a customer logs into the system using an account created for them.


Admin Tools



To navigate to Admin Tools, click on the user image icon at the top right. This will bring up a drop down menu. Select Admin Tools from the menu, and the interface will change to the admin tools interface.



The tools available in the admin tools include the following:


Dashboard - Dashboard available in both user and admin tools

View User - Allows an admin to select a user and view the application from their perspective. This tools is useful to ensure that a user has the correct permissions and can see the tools they should have access to

Users - Create and update users in Amp Onsite, set passwords, user information, and define the user's role

Roles - A tool that allows roles to be configured to show/hide various tools

Preferences - Amp Onsite solution can be configured through preferences. Many parts of the app can be changed or extended.

Import - Import data into the Amp Onsite platform

Export - Export data from the Amp Onsite platform

Forms Builder - Build custom forms that can be utilized in both the web portal or mobile apps to record information in tasks for work orders, sales processes, and shop jobs

Custom Reports - Build custom reports to expose Amp Onsite data in a way that is easily consumed and displayed

Data - A tool for setting up data fields for monitoring equipment in the field or track changes between service calls


User Tools



The User Tools are the first thing you see when you log into the Amp Onsite web portal. These tools are designed for day-to-day use of the application. They are categorized by General, Knowledgebase, Management, and Opportunities tools and include the following:


Dashboard - Dashboard available in both user and admin tools

Service Map - A map showing all customer headquarters, facilities, and locations

Tickets - Tickets created internally to manage tasks and issues that fall outside the scope of work orders, sales processes, and shop jobs

Alerts - Important notifications of events that are brought up by the Amp Onsite system

Company Page - Similar to the customer hierarchy, your company location can be broken down into facilities and locations with equipment and resources

Parts - A list of parts that can be defined to be used with quotes and work orders

Customers - Your company's customer list with a hierarchy of facilities and locations

Contacts - A tool that stores and allows management of customer contacts

Equipment Catalog - A tool that categorizes all tracked equipment by manufacturer, model, and type and allows easy browsing of all equipment currently in service

Vendors - A tool that stores and allows management of vendors

Documents - A tool that provides access to all document trees within Amp Onsite for document containing records. Defaults to the user's file tree. Files are cached on the server and stored in Amazon S3.

Maintenance Plans - Create and define maintenance plans to get alerts on upcoming equipment maintenance

Work Orders - Provides a collection of views to create and track work orders and tasks

Scheduler - An interactive calendar view of all tasks and events in the Amp Onsite system. Create your own calendar views and filter by user, job, and status

Work History - A calendar that displays all work history

Timesheet - A timesheet tool that allows viewing and exporting user timesheet data

Projects - A tool that allows the creation of projects that track the sales process, work orders, equipment, vendors, contacts, and quotes in one place

Sales Process - A tool to track the sales process in a way that is similar to the rest of the Amp Onsite solution

Quotes - Create and manage customer quotes

Sales Activity - Input and track sales activity such as customer visits, email, phone calls, and other activities

Sales Calendar - A calendar that displays sales activity


Customer Tools



Customer tools are the portal for customers when they login. They can see their customer hierarchy including Metrics, Galleries, Facilities, Locations, and Equipment and reports. Records are only displayed for the customer when they have been approved by office staff. This can be a great way to communicate work you have done for customers and provide documentation that they can refer to later.
